Virtual Sessions

Our 20-minute virtual Refinement Sessions are designed to give flutists and piccolo players personalized, expert insight into what might be holding their instrument back. You’ll receive real-time evaluation, clear guidance, and immediate strategies to get back to your best sound.

Flute specialist and founder of The Flute Refinery, Jennifer Baunoch is a seasoned flute and piccolo expert whose career spans performance, mechanical artistry, and executive leadership in the musical instrument industry

We’ll cover:
• Key response issues and sluggish mechanics
• Tone inconsistencies and articulation challenges
• Minor adjustments you can make safely
• How to distinguish player-related vs. instrument-related concerns
• What next steps to take — whether it’s at-home care, a visit to a repair technician, or further educational support

Every session is tailored to you — your instrument, your setup, and your needs.

Cost: $45 per session
Platform: Zoom or Facebook Messenger
Includes: Session summary and recommendations sent by email upon request

If we discover that your instrument needs in-person attention, we’ll refer you to a trusted repair technician in your area or help you understand what to ask for. This service is not a replacement for professional repair, but rather a bridge to help you make informed decisions and get clarity without guesswork,

*Your session will be a private, 20-minute virtual consultation focused on identifying and resolving issues related to tone, response, or mechanical function. Whether something feels “off” or isn’t performing as expected, we’ll work together to better understand the issue and explore possible solutions or next steps.
